Upcoming Symposium on CHAT

2

Is there any interest out there is using the Co-LCHC web site to mediate interactions between San Diego and Bogota who are both offering a seminar of lectures on CHAT, its origins, and prospects?

Obviously there is. But in the Symposium I don't see any links to any content. Will items such as Readings simply be attachments to an Instructor post (not very efficient in terms of going back to them later in the term), or is there a separate functionality for this?

I might also be interested to "kibbitz" on this symposium, but I would not want my humorous or provocative comments to intrude on the main discussion. Could I create a meta-symposium in which I could link to comments in the CHAT symposium and write responses which would only be visible to people I select (e.g. the instructors, and maybe any participants whose rep levels exceed some threshold)?

In the symposium there is an area in the right-hand column for "files" attached the symposium or various chapters. But this, I suspect, is not the ideal way of presenting this information. Nor do I think the whole interface for symposia is very good. It works better for conversations, but probably not symposia.

Yes, that could be done.

Are the plans for developing an alternative interface, then? I'm a bit confused

I'm still finding it difficult to visualise how this will function, but look forward to participating however I can. When is the starting date?

Mike's course starts Jan 9, I believe, and mine on Jan 23.

OK! That's 8am Monday morning in San Diego, yes? 2am Tuesday morning in Melbourne. What happens then? Will someone call me on Skype? Or does all that happen on a different day? What is the topic? Is there any preparatory material?
