Seems like you are a member, Martin.
I am still feeling my way toward what part of our interactions will happen here and which part on the wiki. Do we come here for all the video links or do we use the wiki or.....??

Well I was under the impression that this would be the place where the two courses would interact asynchronously. Files can be shared here. People can attach them to comments, and instructors can incorporate those files as part of the symposium, etc.
Martin is not a member of this symposium, because this symposium has not been marked as "private." Hence it is "public" and anyone can see / participate.

You are in the sense that you're part of the public. This particular symposium has not been marked as "private," so anyone can view / interact with them. If Mike were to make this a private Symposium then you could not get in unless he also made you a member. (Did you see the videos I made explaining how the administration works?).
